bad DJ, do not recommend

The class of 1985 had a great reunion this fall, but I did want to warn people that the DJ was terrible. He played the music so loud that you had to scream to be heard, and by the end of the night I know at least one person who had lost her voice. The DJ was asked by at least five people to turn down the volume and he refused. The point of a reunion is to catch up with old friends, not to silently sit and listen to music. Apparently this DJ thought he was more important than anyone else there. He was from Kingston Round and Round Records, David (I think) Chimenallo. So be warned, unless your class was really boring and have nothing to talk about, I dont recommend him. I do recommend the River Club? in Scituate? Use to be the Golden Rooster I think. The had a very nice function hall and good food. Lots of room.
